On December 10, 2009, New York based Artist Hilton Plummer donated a

painting to Paula Shaw, Founder and Chairperson of the Allen-Shaw

Foundation, Inc. which operates a District Library in Manchester, Jamaica.

Paula Shaw was honored and pleased to accept this award on behalf of the

foundation and the community it serves. The donation will raise funds for

the Foundation’s Library, the Allen-Shaw Reading Room, Literary and

Community Programs which continues to provide education, awareness

and recreation to hundreds of local children living in rural Jamaica.
